This is Channa barca — one of the most beautiful and most expensive snakehead fish in the world. They can grow up to around 80–90 cm and are naturally found in Northeast India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Export of Channa barca is prohibited, but some farmers are trying to breed them. There are no confirmed records of successful captive breeding yet — most attempts are done naturally.
