Forward progress stopped on 1/2 acre brush fire outside Moorpark. VCFD along with VCSO and CHP are on scene of a 1/2 acre brush fire near the 5000 Block of Balcom Canyon Road outside the city of Moorpark. The fire impacted a row of eucalyptus trees, causing damage to a number of avocado trees in a nearby orchard. Firefighters made an aggressive attack and forward progress was stopped by 7:20am.
