Here is Paul, our animal care coordinator, releasing our spotted moray eel into the patch reef tank for the first time! 🤿 Despite their ferocious appearance, spotted moray eels are actually reclusive and spend most of their time hiding in rocks and crevices! Spotted moray eels are predators known to ambush their prey by hiding and waiting until its meal is close enough to strike with its powerful jaws.
