Jumping kangaroos, it’s a joey! Female red kangaroo Arla was born to Roomer (mom) and Roogatti (dad). When joeys, or baby kangaroos, are first born, they are about the size of a lima bean. It takes about three months before a young kangaroo will pop its head out of its mother’s pouch. Arla is currently about eight months old and quite active. But she still enjoys riding along with Mom!
