Officer George Spencer signed off for the last time today, after 26 years with the Bangor Police Department. That's a long time, especially when the additional years at other departments are tacked on. When we do that math, it's a total of 37 years as a police officer. Throughout his career here, George served on the bike team, as a Field Training Officer, as a member of the Special Response Team, and gathered an incredible amount of stories. He told us some today and they were all entertaining.
